Archive your Tezos NFTs to the Internet Archive permanently
What is Tezos Archiver?
Tezos Archiver is an experimental tool that helps you permanently archive your Tezos NFTs (FA2 tokens) to the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) using Fileship. This ensures your digital art and collectibles remain accessible even if marketplaces or IPFS pinning services disappear.
Why Archive NFTs?
- Marketplace Risk: NFT platforms can shut down, taking your files with them.
- IPFS Limitations: Files may become unavailable if not properly pinned.
- Permanent Storage: The Internet Archive provides reliable, long-term preservation.
- Peace of Mind: Extra protection for your digital art and culture.
How Does It Work?
- Enter your Tezos wallet address (tz1...).
- Click Archive NFTs.
- The app fetches your NFTs and sends a save request for their IPFS links to the Internet Archive via Fileship.
- Progress and status are shown in real time, including archiving queue and archiving orders sent.
- Optionally, set your Wayback Machine API key/secret for improved reliability.
Note: Archiving may take several hours due to technical limitations of the Wayback Machine API.
